A new look website that allows landlords to let their own properties from just £19 was launched this week by online estate agent, I Am The Agent.
The portal, which the company says has been designed to ‘give control back to homeowners’, offers a platform to creatively showcase properties, including new features, such as the ability to highlight the best bits of a house or flat.
The cost of listing property on the website, which also allows homeowners to sell property, starts from £19 to let, and £49 to sell. This makes them significantly cheaper than the industry average of £597 according to I am The Agent.
Advertising timescales are six months permitted for letting and up to a year for sales. The online estate agent also offers assisted viewings as an optional extra.
Clients signing up to Iamtheagent.com are assigned a dedicated property assistant who will guide the user through the process from start to finish, as well as arrange assisted viewings if required.
Rebecca Peach, managing director of I Am The Agent, commented: “Our vision is to make selling and renting a home simpler, clearer and cheaper with a professional, yet personal service that buyers and sellers alike can trust.
“We’ve worked with an expert team of web designers, marketers, property professionals and usability experts to take Iamtheagent.com to new heights. It’s intuitive, functional and adaptive, packed with useful tools, equipped with full access to some of the biggest property portals in the world and backed by an in-house team of estate agents.”
