TODAY'S OTHER NEWS

New! Starting Saturday - Landlord Today's weekend features

We hope you enjoy our Breaking News service each weekday - and from this Saturday we have additional weekend features too.

Each weekend there will be at least three longer-than-usual stories - some will be personal views from experts in the sector, others will be helpful guides or explainers about topical changes to regulations.

And some will be strong opinions on controversies raging at the time.

This weekend we begin with the first of a regular monthly column from Landlord Action supremo Paul Shamplina; there’s also a tax-focussed piece on how to make becoming an accidental landlord pain-free; and we have a piece on whether the balance of renting is gradually shifting towards Build To Rent.

On future weekends we’ll have material on the pros and cons of landlords using letting agents, an insight into the latest thinking from the leading landlord body the NRLA, and views and opinions from across the sector.

There’s never a shortage of raw material in the lettings world with frequent legislative changes, political arguments and shortly something like wholesale reform pledged by the government.

So do please continue watching our daily news updates but check out our new weekend features too - a newsletter with links to the first stories will hit your inbox this coming Saturday morning.

We're excited to announce that we're working on building a shiny new website for readers of Landlord Today! As part of this process, commenting on articles will be temporarily disabled. We look forward to sharing our new and improved Landlord Today website with you shortly!
