Build To Rent giant Grainger says east London’s lettings sector is seeing improvements thanks to returning office workers as the pandemic eases.
Grainger says it’s seen a 150 per cent increase in tenancies in the past month alone at its purpose-built Millet Place development.
Jonathan Pitt, the company’s lettings director, says: “Following what has been an incredibly challenging year for so many businesses, it’s uplifting to see that people are returning to the capital as this will undoubtedly help many businesses as they continue to recover in turbulent economic times.”
He adds: “The benefit of our rental offering means those moving or returning to London can feel confident in their decision, with our ‘Stay as long as you want’ tenancy allowing options of up to three years, giving tenants added security and flexibility.
“What’s more, with the Covid-19 pandemic ever evolving our residential properties provide additional co-working space meaning that for many who now have a part office and part home working contract, we can provide the perfect solution to both, particularly with the added benefit of super-fast WiFi included as standard.”
