High-price Build To Rent scheme sees “extraordinary” rapid letting

A Build To Rent provider claims that its new scheme - where prices for the smallest units begin at £1,240 pcm - is being let at what it calls “record” and “extraordinary” speed.

Grainger plc says Millwrights Place, a brand new scheme in Bristol, has achieved 70% lettings within two months of launching.

The scheme offers 231 studio, one, and two-bedroom rental homes. They are, in the words of Grainger, “complemented by an array of resident amenity spaces and three expansive roof terraces.”

Helen Gordon, chief executive at Grainger, says: “Following on from our successful launch event, Millwrights Place was 70% let in record time. This remarkable achievement demonstrates the strong demand for high-quality rental homes in Bristol, combined with the quality and appeal of our Build To Rent offering.”

The development includes 3,900 square feet of internal amenities including a resident's lounge, gym, co-working spaces, meeting ‘pods’ and a bookable meeting room, plus a private dining room and kitchenette with cooking facilities.

In addition, residents also have access to three open-air roof terraces totalling 8,766 square feet with outdoor seating and space for exercise and yoga classes.
