Shamplina speaks at private rental sector conference this autumn

Safe Suffolk Renters will be holding another conference for private sector landlords in the county this October.

The organisers say they are keen to bring landlords together again to share the latest practical solutions from experts as well as listening to the concerns of property owners.

The free-to-attend conference is at the University of Suffolk on Wednesday October 2 with the keynote speaker being Paul Shamplina, who has spent more than 30 years in the legal field helping landlords with problem tenants.

The speakers in the morning will be followed by afternoon workshops focused on the financial and legal implications of being a landlord as well as offering advice on affordable maintenance solutions. There will also be a range of exhibitors at the event that will be of interest to landlords, from member associations and financial advisors to insulation specialists and grants advisers.

The event begins at 9am. A free buffet lunch will be available to delegates at along with refreshments throughout the day. Afternoon workshops run from 2pm to 4pm.

Safe Suffolk Renters has been designed and implemented by all five Suffolk-wide authorities: West Suffolk Council, East Suffolk Council, Babergh District Council, Mid Suffolk District Council, and Ipswich Borough Council.
